When you work with Q & U, home buying is simple and enjoyable. We’ve been through every scenario before, and we’ll stay with you every step until you’re settled in your new home. Every transaction is unique, but here are some things you can expect along the way:
Initial Consultation
We’ll meet in person or over the phone to talk about your goals, time frames, and how we can help.
This is a chance for us to get to know each other, and to help clarify the home buying process with you before we jump in.
Pre-Qualification
If you need financing, we’ll introduce you to one of our trusted mortgage partners, who can help you determine your price range and give you an overview of what to expect in the mortgage process.
Home Search
We’ll take your must haves and wish list items to create a customized MLS portal for you. As your personal real estate concierges, we’ll pre-screen any potential homes for you, and send you only the ones that deserve your attention.
Whenever you want to tour a house in person, let us know and we’ll make arrangements around your schedule.
Making an Offer
Once you find the home you love, we’ll work with you to put together a competitive offer, and put our expert negotiation skills to work for you to ensure you get the best possible price on your new home.
Acceptance, Appraisal, and Inspection
After the seller accepts your offer, your new home will go through inspection and appraisal. The appraisal guarantees that the price of the property matches the condition of the property while the inspection makes sure that everything in the home is functioning properly and there are no major issues inside. We’ll walk you through it all.
Closing Day
It’s time to get the keys to your new home! The closing process legally transfers ownership of your new home to you, and involves a lot of paperwork and name signing. Be sure to bring all the documents you’ve collected during the process, a photo ID, and of course your down payment.
